YAY GET EXCITED FOR D.C!

Hey guys, Zach and Eddie here, this year’s coordinators for the Washington D.C trip to Food and Friends! Who are we? Well here’s a little introduction to both of us:

Eddie Chen is a junior in Sargent studying human physiology. Hailing from the borough (west, that is) of Massachusetts, he loves sports and anything sports-related, absolutely loves his music (he would probably die without his iPod), loves the arts (especially dance), and is looking forward to a great ASB experience. This is his first ASB and is PUMPED to share it with his cobro Zach.

Zach Meyer is SOO stoked for this year because this is his very first ASB and couldn’t be even more excited. He’s from the GREAT state of New York from a town called Commack (IT’S ON LONG ISLAND). Like Eddie, he’s obsessed with his music and also loves television and film. Basically, Washington D.C is the best ASB trip and it has the best coordinators. SO GET EXCITED!!

We are SOOO pumped for this year’s trip to D.C. Once again, we’ll be working at Food and Friends where we will help make food deliveries to the HIV/AIDS community in the D.C area. We will be working with local groceries and cooking some ballin’ meals in the kitchen to meet the specialized needs of those living in life-challenging illnesses. We will be working from 9 in the morning to 2 each day and look forward to touching as many lives as we can in the week we are in the area! Not only will we be volunteering at Food and Friends, but we’ll also be exploring our nation’s capital and hitting up as many monuments and museums as we can! We are working on creating a meaningful and exciting itinerary for our volunteers and hope you keep checking back here for updates on the trip.

We are as excited about this trip as this kid is about his Nintendo 64:
